The donation ceremony of Artery MCU development platform was held in the conference room of the administrative building of National Yunlin University of Science & Technology (Yun Tech) at 2 pm on March 23. Artery Technology Company (Artery Tech) and Yun Tech have established a close industry-university cooperation relations, with Yunlin assisting in the migration of Artery program codes and related teaching and academic activities including technical document writing, to further integrate resources from both sides and work together to create a win-win development pattern in the electronics field.
Yang Nengshu, president of Yun Tech expressed sincere gratitude to Artery Tech who have provided 40 sets of AT32F403A series (approximately NT$200,000) MCU development and education platform system free of charge. He underlined the importance of MCU teaching in promoting the development of the electrical engineering course of Yun Tech who always pays great attention to tiding up the theoretical studies with practices. The integration of MCU knowledge into teaching curriculum will enhance students’ professional capabilities and foster more qualified personnel. Looking ahead, Yun Tech will keep close cooperation with Artery Tech and make the concerted efforts to the industrial advancement.
As an innovative MCU designer, Artery Tech focuses on R&D and innovation of ARM ® Cortex®-M4 32-bit microcontroller. With this donation, we hope that the MCU teaching system will enable students to learn more about MCU technology and to be in step with the latest MCU industry information, and work hard to come out more creative solutions for the benefit of the industry, said, Steven Lin, president of Artery Tech.
With rich silicon IP resources from its affiliated Faraday Group, Artery Technology Corporation, founded in June of 2016, has taken the lead in the domestic market due to its international standard product technology and powerful price competitiveness. MCU microcontroller is not only the soul of all electrical and electronic products, but also an important link in the electrical engineering. Two parties’ efforts to strengthen industry-university cooperation will further step up the use of resources to build a strong strategy alliance between the industry and academic institutions.
